​Melissa comes from the Pacific Northwest of the US where she has been working as a family medicine provider in the greater Seattle area. She graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 2005 and completed a residency in Family Medicine through the University of Washington in 2008. She has done a fellowship in Integrative Medicine and has a special interest in nutrition, lifestyle and herbal therapies.

Sandie is an alumna of Auckland University Medical School graduating in 1984. She has been working in general practice since 1987. She is interested in all aspects of general practice but with a special interest in women’s health and nutrition. Historically, she has done some acupuncture but now prefers to work on appropriate cases.

Originally from Manchester in the UK, Suzanne obtained her medical degree in London in 2000, and completed her vocational training as a GP in 2004. She emigrated to NZ in 2007 and has worked at Waihi Health Centre since. Her interests include minor surgery, emergency care and teenage health. She runs our school clinic at Waihi College.

Lynley has lived in the Waihi area with her family for over 20 years. Having worked in both emergency departments and general practice for over 30 years, she has a particular interest in diabetes management, women’s health and has recently established our nurse-led clinics and marae clinic. She believes in delivering  the highest standard of care to patients and their families for our community.

Lynley Watson

Born and raised in Wellington, Lily trained in the sunny Hawke's Bay and has been nursing since 2014. She is passionate about engaging with whanau, creating healthy homes, tamariki health, mental health and nursing using the Hauora framework. In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors, volunteering for Waihi Search and Rescue, and is studying Te Reo through Te Wananga O Aotearoa.
